Living Spaces

Surprisingly enough, Living Spaces has an awesome area called Kid Spaces in their store. It includes a very large indoor playground, craft table, theater room, touch screen games, and two family bathrooms. It is free and kids can spend up to two hours playing.

If your kids are under 4, then you will have to stay with them in the room. Children 4 and up can be left alone while you shop or just hang out. There is a kid spaces employee who is in the room at all times, but they're more to guard the entrance than anything. You fill out paperwork on your child and then you each receive a matching wristband so that only you can take your child out of the room.

Also very important to note is kids need socks to be in the room. Shoes and bare feet are not allowed on the playground equipment. If you forget them they do have socks available to purchase for $1 with cash or card.

Outside the kids area they have a basic coffee and tea bar available. Food and drinks are not allowed in the Kid Spaces area, however they do have a water dispenser available in the room. The floor is rubber in most of the room which is nice for kids who fall down frequently. The theater room is vinyl flooring.

When you enter the store in Grand Prairie, the kid area is to your right at a diagonal. It's pretty hard to miss. All Living Spaces have a Kids Space and I'd be interested to see what the other ones have to offer!
