Clayton Chandler Park

This park has everything including a splash pad, playground, walking trail, tennis courts, skate park, baseball fields, fishing pond, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, football fields, and pavilions.

We love using the splash pad at this park. This is definitely one of the better ways to beat the heat. It is free and open 10 AM to 8 PM Memorial Day - Labor Day and the September hours are 10 AM to 2 PM Monday-Friday and 10 AM to 8 PM on Saturday and Sunday. This splash pad is very nice! There are tons of water sprayers! For more information on the splash pad click here

There is a shaded pavilion with a few tables next to the splash pad. There is a grill near the pavilion.

The playground is also nice and is good for various age levels. The ground is rubber which is so nice when your kids want to switch between the splash pad and playground equipment. There are two different sections, one for smaller children and one for older children. The smaller section is within eyesight of the splash pad, but the older section is blocked by the pavilion/bathroom. There are some shades over the playground equipment, but not enough to cover all of the equipment so beware during the heat. It has swings, slides, and climbing obstacles. There are a few benches around the playground and throughout the park.

They have restrooms with a large pavilion located next to the splash pad.

The park also has a fishing pond, skateboard plaza, a walking trail with 3 exercise stations, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court and tennis courts. The park also includes football fields and baseball fields.

Clayton Chandler is a fantastic park to visit year round with all the amenities they offer. It's a great place to cool off in the summer and a fun place to take the kids the rest of the year!

ALL splash pads close for the season at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1.
