Irving Bible Church - The Tubes
This church has a great indoor playground that is open for anyone to come and play. It is open daily from 9 AM - 7 PM, though they are closed on select holidays. You can check out the schedule by following this link: Irving Bible Church Building Info
The playscape is pretty big and is geared towards confident climbers. There are a couple of sections that smaller children can play in, but I would suggest bringing a few toys for younger children to play with while the bigger kids climb. The ages on the sign say kids should be 3-10 to climb, and I would say kids need to be at least 2 to be able to properly climb up the levels. There are some large slides, a smaller slide, and a tunnel with soft play items. There are lots of rope ladders and a cool sequin wall that changes colors when you swipe different directions.
There is a large bench as well as a small bar where you can work while watching your kids. There are mens and womens bathrooms as well as a family bathroom. They have a water fountain and snacks are allowed when sitting outside the play area.
There is a cubby for shoes when you enter. Socks are not required, and I would recommend going barefoot because there are several places kids need traction to climb. There is a party room available for rent. They have a playdate on the first Tuesday of every month from 10-11 AM.
There is also a cafe down the hall from the playground. They open before the playscape opens and close at the same time. There are lots of tables outside the cafe as well as some comfy chairs and sofas. You can check out their website here: Cuppa
They love having kids enjoy the playscape!
