Bob McFarland
Bob McFarland is a nice neighborhood park that has lots of natural shade. There is a playground, basketball court, exercise station, pavilion, and walking trail.
At the front of the park is a pavilion that has grills available for use, and a basketball court off to the side. There are trails that wind themselves around the park, most of which are shaded by the trees in the park. There is a small trail that connect to another neighborhood.
There is a nice playground with two sections for different aged children. There are some shades, but it definitely still gets hot in summer. The ground is mulch, so beware for younger children. There are swings, slides, and climbing structures. There is a saucer swing that is great for multiple children. The school next door also has a nice playground with shades and a rubber ground that is available when school is not in session.
Fountains are turned off in late November/early December and turned back on in late March/early April to prevent serious freeze damage.
